Junior Analyst, Legal & Tax

  • Part-time position (student position, 20 hours weekly)
  • Work location: Klareboderne 1, central Copenhagen

 

The role you’ll play

As a Junior Analyst in the Legal & Tax team, you will build a strong foundation in alternative investments within renewable energy and infrastructure. You will be engaged in a broad range of tasks that enhance your professional and personal skills, including fund structuring, compliance with AIFM regulations, and legal and tax support during investment processes. Working closely with senior lawyers and tax professionals who have years of experience in top-tier law firms and consultancies, you will gain valuable insights and hands-on experience.

 

The team you’ll be a part of

You will be part of both the Legal & Tax teams that are crucial for the management and operations of AIP. The Legal team ensures all legal and regulatory aspects of investments are meticulously managed, from the initial compliance checks to the detailed support during capital raising and investment activities. The Tax team oversees structuring and tax due diligence when making new investments, overall fund structuring as well as asset management of existing assets. Both teams play a pivotal role not only in day-to-day legal and tax affairs but also in shaping strategic decisions at the fund.

  • Legal Assistance: Supporting with legal ad hoc matters, managing and updating legal documents and structure charts, handling KYC-request and notarization.
  • Tax-Related Support: Providing general tax support on investments and, ongoing tax matters related to our foreign offices, as well as monitoring transfer pricing positions and keeping documentation up to date.
  • Policy and procedure management: Assisting with updating policies, procedures, and investor-related materials and questions to ensure streamlined operations and effective communication.

 

We emphasise a steep learning curve for our Junior Analysts, where additional responsibilities only are limited by own engagement and effort. We are looking for a student, currently pursuing a degree in Law or Business Administration & Commercial Law, regardless of which semester you are on.
