Junior Analyst, Finance

The role 

Role basics 

  • Part-time position (student position, approx. 20 hours weekly)
  • Work location: Klareboderne 1, central Copenhagen
  • Reporting to: Manager, Finance - Claus Bøiehøj Fischer

 

The role you’ll play 

As a Junior Analyst, Finance, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience and work closely with experienced full-time employees both inside the finance team as well as other departments. You will be involved in all stages of the finance process – from bookkeeping to preparation of Annual Repots as well as participate in ongoing optimisation projects.

The team you’ll be a part of 

You will be part of our Finance team, which consists of 10 employees. We are a small team that work closely together and help each other. We aim to have fun while being busy and respect that people also have a life outside work.

You will be responsible for your own tasks, with the opportunity for sparring within the team/manager.

In addition, you will also be a part of AIP’s diverse student team consisting of 23 Junior Analysts with a strong community with various sports, social and afterwork activities. We develop our Junior Analysts through continuous feedback and trust.

  • Ensuring consistent and uniform bookkeeping practices across companies and funds.
  • Contributing to ongoing process optimizations mainly by further use of IT-systems.
  • Support for Finance Managers and the rest of the organization with ad hoc requests.
  • Assist in preparation of Annual Reports for Holding Companies etc.
  • Contributing to development projects, including the implementation of new financial systems and processes.

 

Desired experience and competencies

What you’ll need to bring 

  • 2nd or 3rd year BSc with a focus in audit, finance or economics.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Excel.
  • Danish and English language skills, verbally and written. 

This will make you stand out  

  • You are analytical and detail-oriented, with an eagerness to learn and have a genuine interest in how a finance department operates.
  • Experience with PowerBI or Datawarehouse.
